A patriotic song competition was organised on 16th August 2015 at Brahma Kumaris, Divya Darshan Bhawan, Navrangpura for Divya Nagari Slum Children from 9 A.M. to 12 noon in context of Independence Day celebration. The theme of the competition was Patriotism. Around 18 children participated in this competition and performed in front of 140 Divya Nagari slum children. Many of them 1st time performed on any stage. They could get courage through practice of Rajyoga meditation as taught by the Brahma Kumaris.

After seeing the confidence of the participants, few children got inspired and sang the songs after competition ended. To cheer up the children, BK Ishitaben, Centre In Charge also performed during the competition. BK Er. Sarangbhai and BK Vinaybhai evaluated the performances.
At the start of competition, BK CA Lalitbhai (Accounts Department, Mount Abu) encouraged these children and shared some of the interesting facts and history of India.
Top 3 singers were awarded with Prizes like Sketch book, Oil Paints pen and Painting Diary. To encourage participants, sketch pen box was given to one and all.
At the end of program, Brahma Bhojan (Khulecha, mixed Sabji, Divya Khichdi and Soji Dahi Wada) was offered to all the children.
